Mental Health & Wellbeing

Welcome Back!

What a great first couple of weeks we've had back at Christ the King. All of the children are looking really smart and they really are a credit to you all.

On the 'Support for Parents' section below, you can find an article about tears at the school gates and ways to support your child with the start of school or indeed their return to school after time off.

As a mentally healthy school we see positive mental health and wellbeing as fundamental to our values, mission and culture. We are a school where child, staff and parent/carer mental health and wellbeing is seen as ‘everybody’s business’.
Mental health is defined as a state of wellbeing in which every individual recognises his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her own community.  World Health Organisation, August 2014
We've updated this page to gather together a range of resources to help and support your Mental Health and Wellbeing and to help you support your children.
