At Christ the King we provide a Catholic curriculum, which is broad and balanced, recognising that every pupil is unique and is created in the image of God (Gen 1:27). Our curriculum is designed to enable every pupil to discern their vocation and to follow it as active citizens in service to the world.
It is through our engaging curriculum, we ensure that children can foster a passion for learning and curiosity of the world around them, which will develop high aspirations, our school values and a lifetime of memories. We believe in ensuring that all children receive a well rounded curriculum, where individual talents can be spotted, nurtured and celebrated to ensure that all children experience success and reach their full potential.
We have developed an approach that provides children with stimulating lessons based around themes and ideas that engage and motivate them, whilst ensuring progress. Communication and language development is at the heart of our approach, as we understand the value of’talk for learning’.
We are committed to providing children with a rich range of practical experiences in a safe, stimulating and enabling environment. We are dedicated to developing our curriculum, as research advances and our understanding about our learners evolves.
